Under no circumstances should you drag the rottweiler puppy over to the mess to show and scold, chastise or rub his nose in it. Put him in an area where he cannot observe you cleaning it up.
It is your responsibility to see that he is in the right area in the correct time. If you blame loudly at your Rottweiler, it will not help your dog get housetrained . It will, rather, lead your pup to be afraid and to distrust you.
When the time comes that there have been no accidents in the house for two weeks straight and when you can tell that your rottweiler dog is understanding what "Go potty" means, you may start extending his "free time" out of the crate. Again, if you found an accident, you have misconceived that your dog is suitably educated.
Also a change in area could influence your rottweiler dogs. They take time to make them known make them acquainted to the new location. The case is same for even dogs who are entirely housebroken.
Accidents are a general way for most rottweilers to warn predators if any who can arrive at their turf.
On the other hand, an adult dog with seldom need to go out every three hours. It is more common after a dog wakes up. Urination is also regular for majority of the dogs after they wakeup. Also, some desire to have bowel movement to relax their body.
Dogs usually desire to urinate and defecate during dinner time. Hence he must be taken out of the crate during that time and also during lunch to allow him to relax properly.
If so, your dog can interact with the family and view TV or lounge with you until the time you go to bed. Remember to pull him out to his potty spot before he gets in to the crate to sleep. You can also use the same methods of housetraining like same potty area, same potty word and cookies, etc.
Appropriately and consistently applying this method of guidance I have had no failures - and neither will you. Each and every dog has been reliable within three weeks of starting his training. You must follow your schedule of taking him out for the potty if he successfully finishes the work. Dont forget to reward or offer him with cookies for his fabulous job.
If your dog is not assisted by this guidance, talk to a veterinary trainer. Put him at a spot where he cannot see you cleaning it up.
